The founding of our Company

Graphite Technologies began its activity in 1989, as a company specialized in electroerosion materials, serving as the exclusive Portuguese distributor of the best and most prestigious brands worldwide. Due to the small size of the national market at the time, it decided to expand its range of products to other areas within the metalworking industry in general, with a special focus on the mold industry. Today, it has a portfolio of brands and products that enables it to reach customers in various industry sectors.

Since it was founded, Graphite Technologies finds crucial to invest in regular training for its employees, systematically seeking to motivate and provide them with tools & skills, empowering them to efficiently respond to customers' requirements. These factors, coupled with a strong team spirit and a great sense of liability, were critical for Graphite Technologies to set the benchmark in the industry and become a leader in the market.

This path engaged Graphite Technologies into a sustainable growth founded on Four key pillars – 1. Know how, 2. Product/service, 3. Quality, and 4. Innovation -, which led to the establishment of a subsidiary in Oliveira de Azeméis in 1992, and to the Certified Quality System ISO 9001 Certification in 2003. This corroborated Graphite Technologies as the market leader, emphasized by its geo-strategic location in both main Molds Industry poles in Portugal, Marinha Grande (headquarters) and Oliveira de Azeméis (subsidiary), which facilitate it to deliver excel service through proximity, and provide the customers with top quality Certified products and solutions.
